Singapore's weather makes no distinction between months, and neither does the room on Level 2 of the Conrad at 1 Cuscaden Road — doors open at 5pm every day of the year, closing at midnight midweek and stretching to 1am on Friday and Saturday. The vintage-leaning, low-lit setting draws socialites, corporate professionals and the occasional recognisable face, with commercial hits kept at a level that lets conversation continue. Asian fusion plates back the drinks list, and table service, bottle service and VIP booths are on hand for groups settling in for the night. Wednesday through Saturday are the busiest stretches, so a booking is wise; smart casual is expected and the $$$$ band is honest about what an evening runs to. Sunday adds a midday sitting from noon to 3pm before reopening at 6pm.
