Lounge and deep house sit low in the mix here, held at a volume that lets conversation carry across the daybeds rather than push it off the terrace — the sound is a backdrop to the water, not the reason you came. Gökçebel sits away from Bodrum's busier stretches, and the day runs on table service: a bed, a Turkish menu through the afternoon, bottle service if the group wants it. Doors open at 10am daily and close at 8pm Monday to Thursday, stretching to 10pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, which is when the mix of locals, Western European and Middle Eastern visitors fills out and the tempo lifts slightly. Beachwear is the whole of the dress code, and the $$ band keeps a long day affordable by Bodrum standards. The season runs May through October, and the crowd skews mid-twenties to mid-forties.
