About City Hall
Sitting at the very bottom of Rambla de Catalunya where it meets Plaça Catalunya, this is about as central as Barcelona nightlife gets — walkable from most of Eixample and the old city, which explains the mix of local twenty-somethings, South American regulars and backpackers who wander in after dinner. Doors open at midnight and the floor swings between techno, EDM and reggaeton depending on the night, with live shows breaking up the run; Thursday through Saturday are the nights that fill, and Friday and Saturday hold on until 6am rather than the usual 5. Bottle service and VIP booths are there for groups who want a base, though the $$ band and the 18-plus, largely under-25 crowd keep the tone unfussy. Smart casual is enough — no trainers-and-shorts, but nothing elaborate. Open year-round, seven nights.
